Residence L- is a private home designed for a single occupant in Taipei City. Originally, the flat featured a living room, kitchen, and three bedrooms. However, since the client spends a significant amount of time working and relaxing in the living room, I reconfigured the layout to better suit her lifestyle. To maximize the openness of this compact 60 m² space, I removed the wall between the bedroom and kitchen, creating a more seamless and airy environment. As a result, the previously narrow living room and kitchen transformed into a spacious and well-lit public area.
